How To Use Wing Chun

Depends on your understanding, ability, skill, and training. Also vice versa, for whoever is attacking you. Along with other variables such as size, strength, speed, and agility.

Now we want our response to be natural and reflexive. There are many different ways of training.  You want to keep the training as simple, direct, and efficient as possible.  But also at the same time, you want to be well-rounded. This is why in our system we have five categories that we touch on. Those 5 categories are:

  • crossing hands
  • pushing
  • pulling
  • closing
  • footwork

Note:

Crossing hands is striking.  Closing is a standing grappler.  Footwork is kicking and leg destruction.
